Event Rules



- Late comers will not be allowed to enter the halls after the screenings begin and will not be eligible for a refund. In order to avoid any discontent at the entrance to the halls, we kindly request our hosts to take the utmost effort to be on time for the screenings.

- We request our student and senior (+65) hosts to have valid IDs with them when coming to the screenings; otherwise they will need to purchase difference tickets.

- 1 TL student tickets will be available only for students. Students who benefit from 1 TL tickets will be required to present valid student IDs at the entrance. Viewers who do not present a valid student ID will have to purchase additional tickets compensating the difference between full price and discount tickets.

- Due to increased security at entrance to the halls, please make sure not to carry anything larger than a handbag. Please note that suitcases and large backpacks will not be accepted either in the venue or the cloakroom.

- Any visual or audio recording, using handy-cam, camera, mobile phone or any other type of recording device during the screenings is not allowed. Recording devices will not be admitted into the halls.

- Black, White and Red Tulip members can buy a maximum of 2 (two) tickets, while Yellow Tulips are entitled to 1 (one) ticket per screening.

- The maximum amount of tickets purchasable per screening is 6.

- There will be no breaks during the screenings.

- In case of a technical problem with subtitles, the problem will tried to be resolved at first. If not possible, screenings will continue without subtitles.

- Every effort will be made to keep to the scheduled programme, but it is subject to change.

- Once purchased, tickets cannot be returned except in case of a programme change.

- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the halls.

Vodafone Red and Freezone 1+1 Campaign

- Vodafone Red and Vodafone FreeZone users are offered one complimentary ticket for each ticket purchased for the 37th Istanbul Film Festival between 24 March-17 April 2018. In order to benefit from the campaign, Vodafone Red and FreeZone users need to text ‘ISTANBUL’ to 6666 or obtain a campaign password through ‘Avantaj Cepte’ and ‘Vodafone Yanımda’. There will be no fee charged for SMS.

- The campaign is valid for users with contract and pre-paid plan or users of Vodafone Red below the age of 26.

- A user can get one single password during the campaign and passwords can only be used once.

- Total number of tickets per password is limited to 6 tickets –3 complimentary and 3 paid– and with the password, tickets can be purchased for different films provided that the complimentary are bought for the same film as the purchased ticket and at the same time.

- Complimentary tickets are limited in stock. Student tickets for 1 TL in the daytime screenings on weekdays are not included in the campaign.

- Ticket sales are available via biletix.com and box offices at Istanbul Film Festival cinemas, however not sold by Biletix call centre and sales points.
