THE STARS ARE COMING TO ISTANBUL—A SPARKING GATHERING BEGINS!
The City of Seven Hills welcomed the world-famous multimedia night walk experience, Astra Lumina, in the summer of 2025. Astra Lumina Istanbul, the first and newest European installment of the Astra Lumina Night Walk series—which has captivated millions in the U.S. and Australia—invites participants of all ages to a mesmerizing night walk experience surrounded by stars in the heart of the city at Turkcell Platinum Park.
Astra Lumina Istanbul sessions begin immediately after sunset. This open-air experience, where light, sound, projection, and special effects converge along a 1.1-kilometer forest trail, offers participants a journey that goes far beyond a typical digital exhibition—allowing them to immerse themselves in the story with every step. As participants witness the stars descending to Earth, finding their own light, and returning to the sky, they also experience the sensation of stepping into a completely different universe thanks to cutting-edge technologies seamlessly integrated with the forest’s natural landscape. With its enchanting atmosphere, Astra Lumina Istanbul offers families, groups of friends, and couples an unforgettable, unique evening activity and the opportunity to create lasting memories.
Created by the world-renowned multimedia studio Moment Factory and brought to Turkey by Devin, Astra Lumina Istanbul combines nature’s unique beauty with a very special light and sound design to offer a cosmic journey in the heart of the city. Since July 12, the experience has welcomed thousands of visitors at Turkcell Platinum Park in Ayazağa. Along its nine-stop route, it encourages all visitors accompanying the stars on their journey to Earth to dream new dreams and reconnect with their inner light.
Istanbul, the ancient city that bridges continents, forges a mysterious connection between the sky and the earth through the pathways offered by Astra Lumina Istanbul. As participants walk along the star-filled path, some return to their childhood, others whisper their wishes to the sky, and still others experience the peace of being alone with nature.
This enchanting night walk experience will continue until the end of November.
From Montréal to Istanbul: A Star-Studded Collaboration
The Astra Lumina Night Walk experiences were designed by Moment Factory, the world-renowned multimedia studio headquartered in Montréal, Canada, with international studios in Tokyo, Paris, New York, and Singapore.
Moment Factory, which has partnered with names such as Disney, Billie Eilish, FIFA, Moët et Chandon, and Universal Studios, has created over 550 immersive projects to date, including The Messi Experience, AURA, and the renowned Lumina Enchanting Night Walks series. Astra Lumina Istanbul, as part of the latest addition to the Lumina Night Walks series—Astra Lumina—opened this summer in collaboration with Devin in the city of seven hills, becoming the seventh stop in the series’ global network.
Turan Öztürk, one of the founding partners of Astra Lumina Istanbul, describes the project as follows:
“The meeting of Astra Lumina and Istanbul goes far beyond what is commonly called a ‘perfect match’! It is much more than a story of ‘finding each other.’ Istanbul has always been a city where fairy tales and reality coexist. A Break in the Sky Garden
Astra Lumina Istanbul offers a truly unique nighttime walking experience. The experience also introduces a new “sky garden”—a completely new gathering space that’s vastly different from ordinary indoor or outdoor venues—where participants can step away from the city’s hustle and bustle and enjoy a pleasant break without leaving the city.
In Astra Lumina Istanbul’s reception area, designed as a “sky garden,” participants can engage in pleasant outdoor conversations, connect with nature and find tranquility, enjoy special snacks and drinks, or make the evening even more unforgettable by participating in various workshops and activities.
Astra Lumina Istanbul offers a delightful evening option for families, a unique experience for groups of friends, and a romantic alternative for couples.
Star Stories Through Different Eyes
With the question, “You’ve always dreamed of reaching the stars; but what if the stars came down to your side?” Astra Lumina Istanbul invites participants to witness the stars’ descent to Earth, their rediscovery of their own light and rebirth, and their ascent back to the sky. The event also features special experiences led by experts in various fields.
Held under the “Walking Together” concept, these experiences reinterpret Astra Lumina’s universal story through the perspectives of guest guides. The series’ first guide was Aşkım Kapışmak. During the special experience held on July 29, participants listened to the voice of their inner child and sealed their wishes to the stars. Combining fundamental psychological discussions and the popular concept of “manifestation” with Astra Lumina’s universal story, this event took place with approximately 150 participants and generated significant buzz on social media.
The event series will continue this fall with new guides specializing in fields such as astronomy, astrology, art, personal development, and history.

In addition to offering a new-generation open-air experience for both city residents and tourists, Astra Lumina Istanbul—described as a magical “escape” space—is scheduled to remain open until the end of November.
In addition to the Astra Lumina Istanbul experience, participants can also take part in special events and workshops such as “Walking Together.” The workshop area, which is now open for both children and adults, features craft and art workshops designed to attract visitors looking to engage in the experience.
Sessions, which begin after sunset, are offered in three separate categories—Family, Adult, and Premium—to ensure participants of all ages can enjoy the experience to the fullest. Event Rules
1. AGE RESTRICTIONS AND PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
* Visitors under the age of 13 are admitted to the experience area only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
* There are no age restrictions for sessions open to participants of all ages. (Participants under the age of 13 may also attend.)
* Participants under 13 years of age are not permitted in adult sessions.
* All participants under 13 years of age must participate in the event under parental supervision.
2. PARTICIPATION IN SESSIONS AND OBLIGATION TO ARRIVE ON TIME
* Visitors must be present at the event venue at least 30 minutes before the session time indicated on the ticket.
* No refunds will be issued if the session time is missed.
* If a visitor arrives late for the session, the venue may, at its discretion and considering session capacity, grant the visitor the right to participate in another session on the same day.
* This decision is entirely at the venue’s discretion; late-arriving visitors have no right to make any claims.
* The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program and ticket prices.
3. SAFETY RULES
* Visitors must follow only the designated walking route within the experience area.
* Walking in the opposite direction, straying from the route, or entering the forest floor and protected areas is prohibited.
* Touching, interfering with, or damaging technical equipment, lighting units, cables, and safety barriers is prohibited. Visitors will be held financially and legally liable for any violations.
* Smoking, vaping, and bringing alcoholic beverages or food into the experience area is prohibited.
* Strollers, scooters, bicycles, wheelchairs, and similar vehicles are prohibited from entering the experience area.
* Since the experience area is located in an open forest setting, there are no restrooms or facilities on-site. Participants are advised to attend to their needs before the event begins.
* In an emergency, all instructions and directions from staff must be strictly followed.
* Directional lights and the public address system must be closely monitored.
* Bringing outside food and beverages into the reception and rest area is prohibited.
* Only water is permitted inside the experience area.
* Pets are not allowed in the reception or experience areas.
* Speaking loudly and making physical contact with other visitors are prohibited during the experience.
* The use of flash photography, video recording, and equipment such as tripods is prohibited within the experience area.
4. HEALTH CONDITIONS AND DISCLAIMER
* The experience involves loud sounds, bright lights, lasers, and multimedia effects.
* Individuals with health conditions such as epilepsy, heart conditions, asthma, vertigo, etc., must participate in the event while taking their health conditions into consideration.
* By entering the event, participants acknowledge that their health condition is suitable for participation and that they assume full responsibility.
5. FOREST AREA AND LEGAL LIABILITIES
* The reception and experience area is designated as a forest park under the jurisdiction of the General Directorate of Forests.
* All participants are strictly prohibited from engaging in any behavior that may harm the forest land or nature.
* Any action causing damage to the forest area is subject to criminal and administrative penalties under the Forest Law No. 6831 and the Turkish Penal Code.
* Participants declare that they will not stray from the hiking route and will not engage in any activities harmful to nature, and that they accept all criminal, administrative, and legal liabilities that may arise in the event of a violation.
* Filming is being conducted in Istanbul by Les Studios Moment Factory Inc. (LSMF) and Devin Event Management Inc. (DEVİN). By participating in the experience, you consent to the filming. Please note that your image may be used in promotional materials by LSMF, DEVİN, and third-party partners (website, social media, etc.).
