About
To remember a face, to preserve a glance, to leave a feeling by the water’s edge…
In this workshop, inspired by the exhibition By the Water: The Life and Art of Halil Paşa, cards featuring selected landscapes and portraits from Halil Paşa’s paintings are reinterpreted by participants through embroidery using needle and thread. Using basic embroidery techniques, participants embroider the surface of the cards with colorful threads, engaging in a dialogue with the artist’s paintings and creating original works inspired by the exhibition.
