The band "A due Carmen" was formed in 2005 by Okan Işık (guitar), Aşkın Çolak (drum) and Can Temiz (bass). With Fatma Turgut (vocal) and Serkan Gürüzümcü (guitar) attending in 2007, the band changed their name to Model.
