Design Biennial Routes

Design Biennial Routes will offer a brand new vision of Istanbul.

The Design Routes, which encompass design-oriented offices, shops, ateliers, manufacturers’, and buildings, are even richer this year with the addition of thematic routes that focuses on various areas that bear authentic textures. With a view to getting insight into different disciplines and phases of design, the Design Routes programme, starting in October, take visitors to 12 areas on both sides of the city, in cooperation with the writer of the book “Exceptional Istanbul: Book of Small Shops”, Ilgın Yorulmaz.

The “Thematic Routes “ were planned in cooperation with the Design Workshop Kadıköy (TAK) and some of Istanbul’s leading designers, architects, academicians, and cultural institutions.
