İş Sanat 2013 - 2014 Season
The 14th season at İş Sanat, starting in November will host award-winning music and dance shows, world-renowned singers and orchestras and virtuosos of jazz and classical music.
The new program for this season features one of fusion’s most virtuosic guitar soloists, John McLaughlin, and classical tabla virtuoso Zakir Hussain to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their musical collaboration and friendship with a project called “Remember Shakti”, acclaimed as one of the best cover artists of Leonard Cohen and The Beatles Madeleine Peyroux, the first “YouTube star” of classical music Valentina Lisitsa, Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, Patricia Kopatchinskaja and the Bavarian Radio Chamber Orchestra, violinist Shlomo Mintz, together with pianist Itamar Golan and cello player Dmitry Yablonsky, Ravi Coltrane following ths steps of his father the legendary saxophonist John Coltrane and more.
