The longing for the past continues to grow stronger by the day within contemporary popular culture and movie theaters. The sense of saturation created by fast consumption and digitalization prompts audiences to rediscover the analog and intimate stories of the past. Taking this nostalgic search as its point of departure, the programme traces the tracks of a free, bold, and rule-bending cinematic spirit that defined an era.

The films featured in the selection “The Big Lebowski,” “Pulp Fiction,” “Harold and Maude,” “Eraserhead,” “Young and Restless,” “The Breakfast Club,” and “Snake Eyes” can be viewed at the Pera Museum Auditorium.
