The Path To Olympics Goes Through Ankara

The Senior Turkish National Women Team’s next stop on the way to Olympics will be between the dates 25th June-1st July in Ankara, where the last five spots for the 2012 London Olympics will be determined. Besides Turkey; Argentina, Canada, Croatia, Puerto Rico, Mozambique, Czech Republic, France, Japan, Korea, Mali and New Zealand will be competing in Ankara Arena in order to become one of the five teams who will qualify of the 2012 London Olympics which will take place between the dates 28th July- 12th August.

Our National Teams’ only goal, after their legendary success - 2nd place in the EuroBasket Women 2011 - is to live another victory through the games in Ankara for presenting Turkey in the Olympics proudly.
