Taste and the City, a new gathering that brings this movement to life, takes place on 16–17 May at Beykoz Kundura.
Flavours from different corners of Turkey come together on the same stage within a contemporary urban experience.
Taste and the City approaches food not merely as something to be consumed, but as a multi-layered experience to be discovered, shared and given meaning together.
Throughout the event, selections bringing together different culinary approaches and touches of World Cuisine are enriched with flavours that reflect the city’s cosmopolitan character.
Street food, meanwhile, forms the liveliest and most dynamic part of this experience, offering a fast, shareable and direct culinary language.
In the workshop and talk areas, chefs, producers and creative figures share the ideas, techniques and stories behind the food.
The rhythm of Taste and the City is shaped by live performances throughout the day.Music, as a natural complement to flavour, becomes an integral part of the experience.
The Local Market Area, featuring local producers, boutique brands and artisans, offers guests not only the chance to taste but also to discover products that connect with the city and take these stories home with them.
