Five-time Grammy-winning collective Snarky Puppy will take the stage at Volkswagen Arena on September 18!
As bandleader and bassist Michael League explains, Snarky Puppy has always been “a band that prioritizes the sound of the music.” Drawing from funk, rhythm & blues, hard rock, classic soul, modern gospel, fusion, and jazz, the group defies easy categorization. Perhaps the best advice comes from New York Times critic Nate Chinen: “Take them for what they are, rather than judge them for what they’re not.”
Over the years, the band’s soundscape has expanded dramatically—evolving from a jazz-oriented foundation into something groovier, more emotional, and deeply communicative without ever compromising musical sophistication. In January 2025, Snarky Puppy reunited with the Netherlands-based hybrid ensemble Metropole Orkest for an ambitious live project recorded over three nights in Utrecht. Released in November 2025 as Somni, the collaboration marked a decade after their Grammy-winning orchestral suite Sylva.
Described as their most ambitious project to date, this era reflects the band’s constant evolution. As League puts it, “Our rule is that it can’t sound like it sounded before—the music has to feel like it’s moving somewhere.”
On September 18, Snarky Puppy brings its ever-evolving, boundary-pushing sound to Volkswagen Arena for an unforgettable night.

Event Rules
- Doors open at 19:00
- Concert starts at 21:30
- Audience under the age of 14 are not admitted to the event. Audience between the ages of 14-18 must enter with their parents. However, participants who are legally under the responsibility of a legal guardian will be permitted to enter accompanied by their legal guardian if they can provide documentation of this status.
- All audience, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
- Participants under the age of 18 will be given wristbands of a different color.
- For disabled enquiries please call Volkswagen Arena (+902123542233).
- Sound in the venue may cause temporary hearing problems.
- Lighting in the venue may cause temporary eye discomfort.
- All audience must have their tickets with them during the event.
- Audience that exits the venue will need to purchase a new ticket in order to enter the venue again.
- Event tickets should only be purchased from official selling points determined by the promoter. The promoter has a right to not allow the ticket holder if the ticket is not purchased from an official selling point.
- The venue has a right to not allow any person if they seem unsuitable for the event, audience who are not allowed will receive a refund.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the venue.
- Pets are not allowed in the venue except guide/service dogs.
- No medical drugs are allowed in the venue.
- Audience should keep their personal belongings with them during the event. Management will not accept responsibility for lost or damaged personal belongings.
- Any kind of firearms, flammables, explosives (deodorants, sprays, perfumes, etc.), sharp, harmful items that may be used for attack or defense purposes (helmets, camping chairs, selfie sticks, tripods, pant chains, etc.) and laser pointers are not allowed in the event area.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in Volkswagen Arena except outdoor smoking areas. Audience who do not comply with this rule will be asked to exit and no ticket refunds will be provided.
- It is not allowed to record during the event. Professional audio and video tools (video camera, selfie sticks and GoPro sticks etc.) are not allowed in the venue.- Venue and promoter reserve the right to use the photos and videos of audience for promotional matters and the audience accepts the use of this right by participating in the event.
