Min Taka will meet the audience at Babylon on May 20, joined by ARKADAŞ, who blends alternative, dark, and electronic textures in their sound.

Min Taka, whom we previously listened to as part of Pozitif Vibrations in September 2025, takes her name from a myth of a vanishing planet. With a genre-bending sound that moves between indie, liquid dnb, synth, and hyperpop, her songs revolve around themes of identity, belonging, femininity, and connection—opening up a universe that is at times deeply intimate and soft, and at others filled with intense electronic bursts.

Drawing inspiration from Mitski, Sassy 009, Cocteau Twins, Kero Kero Bonito, and Charli XCX, Min Taka’s pixie-pop world came into focus with her EP I Think We Should Just Move In Together, released in July 2025. The EP surpassed 1 million streams within a week, while its focus track “Boston” was featured on over 80 playlists worldwide.

Bringing together her Turkish, English, and yet-to-be-released tracks, Min Taka will meet the audience at Babylon on May 20, joined by ARKADAŞ, who blends alternative, dark, and electronic textures in their sound.
