Telli Davul and kozmonotosman, two psychedelic names from the local scene, will be our guests on March 26!
Telli Davul
In 2025, Telli Davul performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival, bringing the spirit of 1970s Anatolian rock to one of the world’s most prestigious stages. Continuing to perform at festivals across Europe, the band blends traditional Anatolian melodies with influences of disco, psychedelic, funk, and jazz. Taking its name from a term once used in Istanbul’s old orchestras for the bass guitar, Telli Davul consists of Muaz Ceyhan (vocals, yaylı tambur, synth, and çağlama), Maya Muz (keyboards), Gamze Yılmazel (drums), and Özer Ateş (bass guitar).
Kozmonotosman
Osman Başaran, or kozmonotosman as he is known in music circles, modernizes Anatolian pop and funk works produced in Turkey in the 70s with electronic music and brings them to the dance floor.
Starting to play the bağlama at a young age and developing an interest in electronic music in his youth played a big part in where he is today.
Influenced by artists such as Derdiyoklar Duo and Aşık Emrah, he produces reworks of works by artists like Selda Bağcan, Barış Manço, Erkin Koray, Fikret Fızılok, Neşet Ertaş, and Arif Sağ, as well as original compositions.
