100% Metal Presents: Babymetal Concert
THE METAL PHENOMENON IS COMING TO LIFEPARK ISTANBUL ON JULY 1!
Japanese metal phenomenon BABYMETAL will take the stage at Lifepark Istanbul on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, organized by Neo Events. Combining the power of metal with high-energy choreography and flawless stage production, the group promises an epic night in Istanbul.
Born in Japan, BABYMETAL shattered all clichés by blending J-pop energy with metal riffs. The group consists of SU-METAL on vocals, MOAMETAL and MOMOMETAL with their “scream & dance” style. Their journey began with their self-titled Babymetal (2014) album and exploded globally with “Gimme Chocolate!!”. That same year, they filled Budokan Arena to capacity, breaking the record for “the youngest group to fill Budokan.” In 2016, they became the first Japanese metal band to sell out Wembley Arena, making history.
Wembley Arena , where they made history in the UK with their headline performance, left their mark at Glastonbury, and cemented their global breakthrough with their first US arena concert at The Forum in Los Angeles; with their METAL GALAXY album, they broke records by reaching number 3 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Top Rock Albums chart—the first time an Asian artist had achieved this. Their 10-concert series at Budokan in 2021 and the 2023 release of the concept album THE OTHER ONE further expanded the group's stage vision; with the support of the Sabaton tour in Europe and legs in Asia and Australia, they broadened their global audience.
Babymetal's success lies not only in music but also in building cultural bridges. The electronic-dance fusion “RATATATA” with Electric Callboy, and the power metal energy they brought to the stage with DragonForce guitarists...
Each of these collaborations has strengthened Babymetal's “boundary-breaking” identity.
Mark your calendars to see BABYMETAL live at Lifepark, with its natural atmosphere, massive production, and high-octane setlist. Doors open at 5:00 PM. At 7:00 PM, a support act (to be announced) will take the stage, followed by the BABYMETAL concert at 9:00 PM.
This is not just a concert—it’s the continuation of a dream that originated from the birthplace of a phenomenon and spread across the globe, and that dream will reignite on the night of July 1 at Life Park.
