The 14th Istanbul International Opus Amadeus Chamber Music Festival brings together art lovers with the Dokwerk Saxophone Quartet, one of the Netherlands' rapidly rising chamber music ensembles, renowned for its significant achievements in international competitions.

In their first concert in Turkey, the ensemble brings the magnificent sound world of four saxophones to the stage, presenting a highly distinguished program at the festival that spans from classical repertoire to contemporary works.

The program features Mozart's Adagio & Fugue, woven with powerful dramatic narrative; a captivating selection from the legendary representative of minimalist music, Philip Glass; Mendelssohn's beloved Die Hebriden overture, Negarehaye Rangin by Iranian contemporary composer Ramin Amin Tafreshi, reflecting his passionate and poetic world, and Saint-Saëns' world-famous Danse Macabre, one of the beloved works of French romanticism.

French composer and saxophonist Philippe Geiss's breathless Patchwork, with its irresistible energy, invites listeners to a surprising finale.
