The workshop draws inspiration from the dynamic brushstrokes seen in the artist's paintings in the exhibition By the Water: The Life and Art of Halil Paşa. Children first examine the marks left by the paint on the surface of the works and the painter's brush movements. Then, paint tubes are squeezed onto paper, and the surface is covered with a transparent foil. Children use different materials to press onto the foil, providing paint that spreads and mixes on the paper. The splattering and spreading colors that occur during this process allow children to observe the dynamic traces left by the paint on the surface and create fun compositions
