The workshop draws inspiration from the seascapes and sailing ships in the exhibition By the Water: The Life and Art of Halil Paşa. Children first examine the boats, canoes, and seascapes in the artworks. They then design small boats using materials such as paper plates, paint, wooden sticks, and felt. The designed boats are placed on the plate surface so that they can move left and right through a slit cut in the plate. This process offers a playful experience that develops children's imagination, creativity, and manual dexterity.
