18:00 | Talk: "Jazz is Universal" This special session, titled "Jazz is Universal," explores the boundless language of jazz and its cross-cultural unifying power from various perspectives.
Leading figure of the Turkish jazz scene Önder Focan and Jazz Dergisi writer and co-founder of Nardis Jazz Club Zuhal Focan will share insights on the universal nature of jazz through music production and international collaborations. Meanwhile, experienced art manager, radio programmer, and jazz writer Hülya Tunçağ, alongside Jazz Society President and festival curator Özlem Oktar Varoğlu, will discuss the role of jazz in cultural diplomacy, festivalization, and sustainable art ecosystems. Focusing on the unifying power of art, this gathering invites everyone on an inspiring journey of creating a common language through jazz.
19:00 | Concert: Önder Focan, Hakan Behlil, Kaan Çelen Trio feat. Defne Yiğit As the evening continues, masters of jazz take the stage. In this special concert featuring guest vocalist Defne Yiğit, the winner of the Nardis Young Jazz Vocalist competition, Önder Focan, Hakan Behlil, and the Kaan Çelen Trio offer an unforgettable musical feast.
