The 22nd Izmir European Jazz Festival

The 22nd Izmir European Jazz Festival held by the Izmir Foundation For Culture Arts and Education (IKSEV) takes place between the dates 5 March and 21 March, 2015.

The Festival which has been held uninterruptedly in a special field such as the European Jazz for 22 years starts this year with the project (named “Jazz Meets Classic-Taksim”) to be performed by the world-renowned piano duo, Ufuk – Bahar Dördüncü featuring Eric Truffaz Quartet on 5 March 2015, Thursday,  at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Arts Centre.

During the festival, the jazz audiences in Izmir will have the chance to listen to the music of big names in the European Jazz such as Paolo Di Sabatino Trio from Italy, KhalifeSchumacherTristano from Luxembourg, Mario Rom‘s Interzone from Austria, Hanka Gregusova & Ondrej Krajnak Duo from Slovakia, Maria Raducanu Quart
