Founded in 1994 by Bolshoi Theater soloist Gediminas Taranda, The Imperial Russian Ballet Company, which has achieved great success by collaborating with world-famous dancers and taking part in many international festivals, meets its audience for the first time with Tchaikovsky’s unforgettable masterpiece Swan Lake as part of the Turkey Tour organized by Ment Event-Armoni.

Considered the birth of Russian classical ballet, Tchaikovsky’s unforgettable masterpiece Swan Lake tells the story of Odette, who is transformed into a bird by an evil force, in a fairytale atmosphere, dealing with themes of love, betrayal and transformation. The young prince swears his eternal love to the swan princess, but betrays this promise by being deceived by the evil sorceress Odile. In the end, the gloomy ending of the ballet changes and the prince and the swan break the evil spell, ending with a brilliant apotheosis.
