Carmen / Ballet Flamenco Maria Carrasco

This new production of Carmen, an adaptation of the classic by Merimée, with live flamenco music and a careful choreography has been designed by Maria Carrasco. She has created from the adapted script, staging and choreography to costumes design, including a spectacular gown tail. Maria Carrasco has played Carmen on the stages of various countries and has wooed the audiences and critics alike and toured various venues in her home country Spain.

The produccion has a cerefull thought-out stage design, an eyecatching costume design and a mesterly body of dance for this new version of the classic myth of the passionate and spanish woman. With twenty artists on stage, four musicians and sixteen dancers, the show includes Spanish dance, flamenco, tango argentino and contemporary dance, as well as set changes beautifull costumes and mesmesiring lighshow. This show, Carmen, was finalist in the category of Best Dance Show at the VIIth Edition of the Max theatre awards, and Maria Carr
