One of the most popular bands in Turkey Athena recognized as a ska, punk-rock with tight rhythms, very joyful melodies.
Their debut album, Holigan (1998) was received enthusiastically throughout the country. Second album, Tam Zamanı Şimdi, was released in 2000. The song “12 Giant Men,” which they wrote for the Turkish National Basketball Team, was really liked. Third album, Her Şey Yolunda, was released in 2002. They performed as headliners at such festivals like H2000 and Rock'n Coke. They came in 4th in the 2004 Eurovision song contest with their song "For Real." They have acquired a considerable audience abroad, especially through their concerts in Germany. Their latest album, Pis, was released in 2010.
