Slaughter to Prevail is a Russian deathcore band formed in 2014 in Yekaterinburg, Russia, and currently based in Orlando, Florida, USA. Known for their brutal sound, aggressive breakdowns, and intense live performances, the band has become one of the most prominent names in the modern deathcore scene.

Throughout their career, Slaughter to Prevail has experienced several lineup changes. The band’s core members are Alex Terrible (lead vocals), a Russian musician recognized for his extreme vocal techniques, and Jack Simmons (lead guitar) from the United Kingdom. The current lineup also includes Dmitry Mamedov (rhythm guitar), Mike Petrov (bass), and Evgeny Novikov (drums).

Slaughter to Prevail made their debut in 2015 with the EP “Chapters of Misery”, which introduced their signature blend of deathcore brutality and dark atmosphere. Their first full-length studio album, “Misery Sermon”, was released in 2017 and quickly gained international attention.

In 2021, the band released their second studio album, “Kostolom”, which further solidified their global reputation and expanded their fan base. Their third and most recent studio album, “Grizzly”, was released on July 18, 2025, showcasing a heavier, more refined sound and the band’s continued musical evolution.
