Şevket Çoruh (born June 30, 1973) is a Turkish film, television, and theater actor. His maternal family immigrated to Sapanca after the Russo-Turkish War of 1877–1878, while his paternal roots trace back to Anaçlı village in Ardanuç, Artvin. He is known for his long-standing career and strong character portrayals.

Şevket Çoruh is best known for his role in the iconic Turkish police drama “Arka Sokaklar”, which ran for 18 seasons. He also gained widespread recognition through popular film franchises such as “Çakallarla Dans” and “İnşaat”, becoming a familiar face in Turkish cinema.

Throughout his career, he has appeared in numerous acclaimed productions including Anlat İstanbul, Gönül, Yılan Hikayesi, Çiçek Taksi, and Sultan Makamı. His versatility across drama and comedy genres has established him as a well-rounded performer.

A graduate of the Müjdat Gezen Art Center, one of Turkey’s leading private performing arts institutions, Şevket Çoruh is also deeply involved in theater. He is the founder of Baba Sahne, where he continues to contribute to contemporary Turkish theater through original and independent stage productions.
