Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut is a Turkish alternative rock band formed in 2014 in Istanbul. The group was founded as a joint musical project by Mürsel Oğulcan Ava (Oğulcan) and Uğurhan Özay (Uğurhan), who quickly gained attention with their unique style and distinctive, thought-provoking lyrics.

The duo’s strong musical chemistry and creative collaboration helped the band rise in popularity in a short time. The name Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut (meaning “Hold the Full Glass Upside Down”) was chosen as a reflection of their ironic narrative style and unconventional musical approach.

The band released their debut album "Polonya'nın Başı Belada" in 2015. The songs "Aldattın Mı" and "Evdeki Ses" received positive feedback from listeners, helping the band secure a place in the Turkish music scene. With this album, DKTT began gaining recognition among alternative music fans.

In 2017, the release of their album "Dünyanın En İyi Albümü" marked a significant step in their musical career. Tracks such as "Gitme", "Anlamı Yok", and "Beni Yalnız Bırakma" were widely appreciated and showcased the band’s unique sound along with their creative and impactful lyrical style.

In 2019, Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut released their album "Karanlık". Songs like "Neyin Nesi" and "Yaralı" highlighted the band’s musical evolution and deeper lyrical expression. Their 2020 album "Kaçar Gider" was also highly praised, solidifying their status as one of the leading names in Turkish alternative rock music.
