Turkish native Can Utkan, aka DJ Yakuza,got his start as a professional DJ playing at clubs in Tokyo. Upon moving back to Turkey in 1999 he began working at  96.0 Radio Oxigen, where he created his own fabulous style by attaching himself mainly to drum’n bass and break-beat styles . DJ Yakuza also collaborated with acclaimed jazz musicians under his producer identity. Yakuza formed the band “Orient Expressions” with Cem Yıldız, Richard Hamer and Murat Uncuoğlu where they created a synthesis of Turkish melodies and sounds with electronic and jazzy sounds. In 2008, DJ Yakuza relased his first solo album “Labyrint”. Known as  one of Istanbul’s most eclectic and joyful electronic DJs, get ready for a cheery performance by DJ Yakuza.
