Büke first took music courses from his musician father and appeared in his first concert at the age of 10. Winning the “Prodigy Child” contest in 1977, Buke got the opportunity to  study the piano with Mithat Fenmen and Gülay Uğurata; and theory and composition with İlhan Baran. One of the most talented and famous pianists from Turkey, he is widely known not only as a successful pianist but also as a brilliant composer, a classical music virtuoso and a fascinating improviser of jazz music. With a State Scholarship in 1982, he attended the Music Academy in Hannover and graduated with 1st degree as a soloist in 1992. He won several awards in Craydon and Bilbao contests. Besides playing with North German Radio Orchestra, West Palm Beach in America and Lanciano in Italy, he also appeared in concerts in various countries.
