Discovering the trumpet at the of 12, İmer Demirer attended the Istanbul Conservatory where he received 10 years of classical training. As a respected young talent, he has played in numerous international festivals and worked with names like Aaron Goldberg ,Essiet Essiet,Ari Honig. Working on his first solo album these days, “You Me Çar”, which will be released to coincide with the festival, Demirer has also contributed to projects like Demirer Acid Trippin’, Istanbul Jazz Quartet, Emin Findikoglu Group, TRT Jazz Orchestra and EBU Jazz Orchestra. He is already ranked among the respected trumpet player of Turkish Jazz history.
