Possessing a skillful mix of traditional big band spirit with modern jazz ambiance; Bik Bent Braam is on stage with their “Extremen” project. Pioneered by the pianist and composer Michiel Braam, Bik Bent Braam was formed in 1986 by 13 Dutch musicians. The group has impressed music critics with their extraordinary improvised live performances and today after performing countless concerts in various countries, they have grown into a master jazz group. In 2002, Dutch critics  named their album “Bik Bent Braam Goes Bansai” as the best jazz album of 2002. Their second album “Growing Pains”, which was released in 2004, proved the group’s success to the music world. With their latest album “Outer Limits”, Bik Bent Braam has reached into a different level of quality both musically and lyrically.
