With his diffferent approach to sound and music, American pianist Cecil Taylor is considered to be a pioneer of contemporary music. In 1956, his first album “Jazz Advance” came out and the album proved that the musician became a pioneering figure in avant-garde jazz. Unlike traditional jazz, Taylor chose to perform complex and free jazz styles and drew attention of music lovers when he was very young. In 1962, Down Beat magazine  named him “the new star of jazz”. From 1980 to 1992, Down Beat readers chose him as the best jazz pianist for 13 consecutive years. Tony Oxley, a musical genius on percussion will accompany him, and the duo will set out to deliver an outstanding performance meticulously filled with theatre and poetry.
